YARD SALE
This week has been spent getting ready for a 5 family yard sale
that we had in my yard starting on Thursday at 7:00 a.m. and ending
at 2:00 today, Saturday. Can we say HOT!
It was a chore trying to stay cool. It reached 97 degrees here today.
We worked hard but it paid off. Everyone made money and we
didn't have much stuff to haul back in. We will do this again
in October when our little town has what is called Oktoberfest
and people come from miles around for the 10 miles of yard
sales that goes past my apartment. I am in the perfect spot...LOL.
Even my 7 year old grandson sold some of his old toys and made a few bucks. He's was a happy camper until his mother told him he could
NOT buy BB or a Pellet gun with the money.

Glad the sale went well and well done to your grandson :) They have Oktoberfest in Germany don't they? Is it similiar to what happens where you live??

Glad it turned out so well. I've never had a yard sale for more than one day. I'd love to go to that one in October that stretches for 10 miles. Bet you can find some good stuff. HUGS Chris

ouch! that's a lot of time... but glad you made out in the deal... a little extra $$ always comes in handy... but it's hard work
