Just catching up...

Boy, it has been a hot week here in Middle Tennessee. We reached 101 degrees on Monday and 100 on Tuesday. Today is a much better due to a nice thunder boomer that passed over in the last couple of hours. Of course the sun is trying to come out now so it will probably get steamy. I think I will just stay inside in the air conditioning. I hope all the folks in the path of Hurricane Dolly are staying safe today.
I pretty much just rested up on Sunday. The yard sale was a success for all of us but it sure was tiring out in the heat (even with an umbrella to sit under). Monday was a day of trying to catch up on alerts (a lost cause), and working on my tag club challenges. If anyone is interested in a great tag club just let me know and I will tell you how to join. We have some great tagger's and lot's of people that don't tag but join in the daily games and collect tags.
Yesterday I decided it was time to work on my computer files. OMG what a mess. It took me all day but I got it done. I can actually find what I'm looking for now. When you PSP you tend to collect a lot of supplies and I had been putting them all in one folder. I ended up with 16 different folders when I was finished, and each one is pretty full.
I found someone who is local that will transfer my old video tapes to DVD's for a reasonable price. I have about 30 tapes that need to be transferred and I am really looking forward to getting them back. There is lot's of vacation type video's but the one I look forward to most is the birth of my granddaughter in 1997. They let me video practically the whole event. When my kids were born, no one was even allowed in the room with me. Times have sure changed. Anyway, my grandson was delivered by C-Section so no video until he was out of the delivery room. He was 10 lbs. 4 ozs. and I think that was the main reason for the C-Section. Ouch! My other grandson was adopted by my son and daughter-in-law when he was 5 years old. So no birthing tape there either. Have a good rest of the week everyone...

We got four inches of rain from our friend Dolly but in the country where the cows are only one and a half or two. Yes yard sales can be very tiring. I lived on a busy street in san antonio so we had lots of sales. We kind of make it a social event. I sure couldn't have one now. Paula

I wanted to do that with our videos of the kids when they were young. We had so many. Now, my ex is saying he can't find them; I must have taken them when I moved out of our house. I'm wishing I had. I have a feeling his new wife conveniently tossed them when she moved in. She was good for that. LOL...I just put all my PSP things in folders about six months ago. Took me almost two years to decide to do it. I had a few things where they should be but not many. I don't know how I found anything before that. Have a good weekend! Hugs Chris

Good idea getting those videoes transferred. I should look for soemone who can do it also. I have so many tapes. I love the Pink Lemonade tag. I missed that offer : ( Have a great Thursday! hugs, Bethe
