It's Jan's Turn!
1. What is your favorite quote?
I screw up quotes regularly. There's a few, though, that has meaning to me. 'Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and give unto the Lord what is his.' or 'There are more things on heaven and earth, Horatio, than ever you should know.' And Ernie Banks, Mr. Cub, (I hate the Cubs!) said, "Let's play two!" Or from The Blues Brothers, 'We're 100 miles from Chicago, we have a half a tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, and we're wearing sunglasses.'
2. Who is your favorite author and why?
I have a lot of authors that I enjoy. If I have to pick one, it would be John Stienbeck. I love his off the wall charecters and the strange situations they get into. I still get emotional when I think of the ending of Of Mice and Men or Grapes of Wrath. The best thing is that I haven't read all of his books, so I have that to look forward to.
3. Tell me about a scent that reminds you of something.
My Mom used to wear this particular brand of loose face powder. It has a telling scent. When I smell it, I think of her.
The questions were from Jan from If I Ruled the World. Read her journal and enjoy. It's a great read. Great questions, they made me think.

I hope you and yours are feeling good today.
Those were great question. I'will have to go and meet Jan.
Have you read "Cannery Row"? by Steinbeck
I love the woman who cuts out the pictures of the food and has pretend dinners.
Love,
