John Scalzi's Your Monday Photo Shoot: Crowds
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Get a picture of a crowd or crowded event. Conventions, weddings, parties in cramped spaces -- you know, anywhere there's lots of folks doing something.
It's festival time again. This is my favorite time of the year. It's so much fun to ride the rides, play the games, eat, eat and eat some more, shop at the kiosk's and then we finish the night off with fireworks. We're fireworks happy here. We do them for fests, the Fourth, Homecoming and New Years. And everytime someone has an idea for a new event, we throw in fireworks too.
Most of the photos above are from the Festival in the Park. It doesn't look crowded. At the time I took the photos, it was early in the evening and most of the fun hadn't had a chance get going yet. As I said we close out each evening with fireworks. My batteries died before I had a chance to get them that evening. So I include Fourth of July photos. As I said in another entry, they're tired, but they give and idea of what good times in a crowd is all about.
