Lend Me.......
By Joe

Lend me your eyes

so that I may see

the world as you.

Lend me your heart

so that I may feel

the love as you.

Lend me your love

so that I may

comfort and heal as you.

Lend me your shoes

so that I may walk

the same path as you.

Lend me your strength

so that I may be as

strong as you.

Lend me your hand

so that I may get up

and lend you mine.

This is wonderful!  Thank you for putting it up.  By the way, while in COuntry did you know a soldier by the name of Victor l. Shank, Jr.? He was stationed in Nam 1969-1970. If so, please Email me back with whatever information you have about him. I am in the process of writing a book, and your in-put would be very valuable.  Thank you.  Diane M. Shank Isinggr8@aol.com

Joey this is a great idea, and the poem is beautiful. You give without thinking, and ask for nothing. In the months ahead please ask because if we don't know what you need, we can't give it to you. And to give of yourself is the best gift of all, and you've done more then your share of that. Welcome Home Joey, well done and thank you, SueC
