Link Guidelines
I crave your links. I will often solicit links by writing about something and then asking for people to write in their own space about the subject and send me a link to what they wrote -- but don't feel that's the only time you can send me a link. Far from it. Go on, surprise me. I like surprises. At least the ones that don't involve subpoenas.
You can send your links to the mail addresses below. BUT -- before you send a link, please heed these posing guidelines:
1. Material with a strong point of view or an original take on things has a much better chance of a link than a "me too" kind of entry. Be selective.
2. Your link will have a better chance of getting in if it's "PG"-rated; remember I work for AOL and they have a thing about community standards. The topics can be controversial, just presented with a minimum of profanity and nekkidness. Clean links are happy links.
3. If you're commenting on someone, or rebutting someone else's earlier AOL Journal or other blog entry, a link that says something like "I read Joe's commentary on such-and-such, and here are all the reasons I think he's wrong" has a much better chance of rating a link from me than one that reads "I read Joe's commentary on such-and-such, and I can't believe what a scum-swilling Nerf herder that loser is."
4. On any given day, I'm likely to get a lot of link suggestions from AOL members and others. If I don't post yours this time, please don't be discouraged. I'll be trying to get a broad range of links and voices and not just link to the "usual suspects." Send in another one.
AOL Members: Send your link suggestions to screenname: JMSjournal. In the subject line of your e-mail write "LINK:" and then whatever you want. The "LINK:" helps a whole lot, so please don't forget it!
Note that the JMSjournal mailbox only accepts mail from AOL members. If you're not on AOL and you try to send me e-mail there, I won't get it.
Non-AOL Members: Send your link suggestions to JMSJournals2@aol.com. In the subject line of your e-mail write "LINK:" and then whatever you want. The "LINK:" helps a whole lot, so please don't forget it!

I tried to email you but it bounced back. Is there something wrong here?

I SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERES A SITE I CAN GO TO TO DOWNLOAD MESSAGE ARCHIEVES FOR AOL---IS THERE SUCH A PLACE?

IS IT A BIG SECRET? Can't you logically explain to your Journalers how to do a LINK?
Starting March first, I have written 10 entries in my journal. Now one by one, as I write more entries, the existing ones will go away. I need to make a link to keep them alive, because I dragged or pulled or shoved EXCELLENT pictures in the Journal, which I want to keep alive and handy so people can see them.
Listen how retarded you (not personally) come off: "If you want to save a particular entry on its own, do the following:
1. Add the Entry (from where to where? I ask you!)
2. Click link to this entry (so where is link, so I can click. I'm on AOL 8.0. and looked everywhere.)"
