Hearing Powerpuff Girls -- I watch a lot of cartoons. I have a kid.

Whoo-hoo!

Picture from Hometown

I'm picking up Athena from pre-school today, and I'm flipping around the radio and land on the local Lite Hits station, which is playing some Phil Collins atrocity or another. And from the back seat, Athena says:

"Daddy, turn the station. I want to hear some good music."

I'm so proud.

Incidentally, "good music" as defined by Athena as "Song 2" from Blur (you know, the song that goes "whoo-hoo!" during the chorus. Athena of course calls it "the whoo-hoo! song"). Here she is hopping on the bed to it.

Tell me your kid's favorite tune to hop to. And enjoy it while they're still happy to hop around in front of you.

"Tell me your kid's favorite tune to hop to."

Actually, it is "Five Little Monkeys (Jumping on the Bed)." Go figure. lol Or was this question rhetorical? :-)

Rasslor! That's a good one, indeed. "Is there no one on this pathetic planet who can provide me with SPORT?!?"

lfk034, that Smashmouth tune is also on the Athena hit parade -- it's one all kids seem to really get into.

Re: Books and stuff -- sure, I'll be talking about them from time to time. In fact, I'll be doing a book-related entry probably tomorrow. Stay tuned!
