Hearing Sweet Surrender (Live recording) -- Sarah McLachlan
Liver Crushing
I've had more than one occassion to be glad I'm not a Cubs fan, and last night sure was one of them. Because I have to tell you, if I were a Cubs fan, and I had to watch my beloved Cubbies implode in the 8th inning in part because another Cubs fan stuck his hand out to grab a ball, well, I would feel like the baseball gods had ripped out my liver, jumped up and down on one lobe with spiked sandals and tossed the other lobe into a blender set to "frappe," made Cub Fan Liver smoothies, and then served the smoothies to feral cats. Look around Chicago today and I imagine you'll see a lot of people looking like they're missing a major organ.
They all still have their hearts, though. The baseball gods are saving that one for later.
I sure hope that fan has hired a bodyguard. Preferably one that's a White Sox fan.

i wouldn't worry that much about it---one fan, one play, one game. And the cubbies might still get to dance. Glad i don't follow the play=offs or the Series.
