Hearing Nobody Knows -- Fooled By April

Fooled by April

">

As part of my continuing quest to bring you the coolest new indie bands for your weekend listening pleasure, I present to you Fooled by April, a band with which I had a bonding moment with my exceptionally musically hip pal Johnny A. Normally our music tastes diverge just a bit, but earlier this year as we were tossing out new bands we liked that we bet the other of us hadn't heard of, we were stunned and excited to discover we both liked the fresh guitar-pop stylings of this band. You will too -- or your money back!

Here's the link to Nobody Knows, which I particularly like, and here's a page with some other nifty MP3s from them. You you really dig them, show them the love and, you know, buy a CD or something. Then they'll be encouraged to make more music. And that's a good thing.

"Goes to show that even blind hog roots up an acorn now and then."

Ha! All I can say to that is: Oink!

Typically your taste is substantially different than mine, but I gotta agree, Fooled by April is pretty damn good. Goes to show that even blind hog roots up an acorn now and then. <sorry>

I'll get the EP. Thanks for the lead.

I'm new to AOL journally. I've been blogging on xanga for quite some time and find it interesting that AOL has included this into their 'line up' of new and refreshing ideas. I do have one comment on comments. I'd like to be able to link to someone's journal by clicking on their 'blue' highlighted name that appears at the bottom of their comment. How else am I to find interesting sites if not stumbling across them while reading yours??
    Have a great one!
