Hearing Three Babies -- Sinead O'Connor
Here's some fun with science: Time-lapse movies of plants, showing the changes that occur to the chlorophylled ones over long stretches of time. Aside from being just plain groovy to watch, it shows that far from being the immobile things we think them to be, plants are active things. Sure, they're not exactly chugging along on an animal-speed schedule, but that's not to say they don't do what they need to get done. And as anyone who's spent a chunk of time tearing out weeds can tell you, they move fast enough.
