More Fall Foliage

Picture from Hometown

These are blackberry leaves from my garden (and by "my" garden, you should understand that it's actually my wife's garden, and I just graze from it). What's really interesting is that you have the laves in the foreground in full color, while the leaves in the lower right corner still have their summer green. It's like that all the way through the blackberry canes -- a mix of this season and the last. I guess some leaves just have not gotten the news.

    John this is a great time of the year for the beautiful colors that come out. I can remember being in New Brunswick and Maine in September and October and I loved there. Especially when the apples were ripe....john
