77-0? Did the Sooners actually play against someone? I mean, I understand that Texas A&M may have put human beings on the field. But did those people actually know what they were supposed to do once they got there? Had they been briefed? Isn't there a mercy rule in Division I football? And if not, shouldn't there be? I mean, honestly. I don't even care about college football and even I know that's not a game, that's a turkey shoot. Aggie fans, you have my sympathy. But damn. Someone's got some 'splaining to do.
Also, while we're on the subject of college football, which -- remember -- I don't care about, I should note that I don't really expect JoePa to be a coach for all that much longer, especially now that the Nittany Lions have dropped six in a row. Paterno is undoubtedly one of the great college football coaches of the 20th century, but here in the 21st, the game has not been kind to him. Any other coach with his record in the last few years at a college as competitive as Penn State is would be been booted by now. I'm not saying I want him gone -- again, like I care -- but I am saying people have got to be talking by now.
Oh yeah, Ohio State won. This means that it's safe for me to go out. Because while I don't care about college football, apparently everyone else in my immediate vicinity does.
