Remember
Today is Veteran's Day. Do give a moment of your day to think about the men and women in our armed forces who have fought and served for our nation's causes.
Learn a little about Veteran's Day, if you don't know (or forgot) how it came to be. Remember to teach your children about Veteran's Day as well.
Also, not to be unpatriotic about these things, but I have to admit I find the choice of Jennifer Love Hewitt as national spokesperson for Veteran's Day 2003 to be enigmatic at best.
To those who served -- and those who serve -- two words: Thank you.

we consider the Veteran from Long Island who's life was depicted in that movie
Tom Cruise starred in ? He served on both the front lines in Viet Nam and also the front lines here at home during the protests and controversies. Thanks for the consideration. Also, if you get a chance, please give me some feedback on my journal. Thanks again.
