By The Way...

Okay, remember when I warned you that deep-frying a turkey is not a task to be taken lightly, otherwise you might be deeply covered in burns that are painful and possibly require medical attention, as well as being required to listen to friends and family drunkenly recount your oil-splattered stupidity every Thanksgiving henceforth? That still stands. Having said that: Here's a link on how to properly deep-fry a turkey, since anyone who has had deep-fried turkey will bore you to death with just how tasty it is.

The link is from the National Turkey Federation, although I rather strongly suspect the members of the Federation don't have the best interests of the individual turkeys at heart. I mean, look at this picture from the site:

Clearly, not a picture that celebrates the personal well-being of the turkey. But it does look yummy. I guess the domain name "EatTurkey.com" is a giveaway of the Federation's true intent. That link to the National Turkey Federation, not coincidentally, leads to a front page with lots of other turkey-related recipes, many of which also look mighty tasty.
