Wedding Suggestions

AOL Journaler Shelli P appears to be planning to elope with her man in order to escape the pressures of a big wedding and is looking for suggestions from readers for places to run away to. The criteria she has for suggested locations are here. She's leaning somewhere Caribbean.

I personally think the Caribbean is overrated -- don't get me wrong, if someone offered me a free vacation there, I probably wouldn't reject it flat out of hand (really! Try me!). But Krissy and I had our honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta and not only was it just a really wonderful time (aside from the usual reasons honeymoons are wonderful), but it was also surprisingly inexpensive and not horrendously overtrammeled by the tourists, despite it famously being a Love Boat stop. So there's my recommendation. Now, y'all go over and give her yours.

He is right, the Caribbean is overrated....My husband and i were married in Lake Tahoe...on the month of June.....im telling you it was the most beautiful place i have ever seen. I've been to Cancun...nothing compares to Tahoe....i guess other than Europe...

Re: Pictures -- I'll see if I can dig any up. I was married eight years ago, so alas, there are none handily on the computer. But if I unearth any, I'll put 'em up.

Do you have a picture or two you could share with us?? hehe...Im soo nosey! Take care John and thanks for the extra comments headed my way! yay! ~Shelli
