Linking With Myself
An AOL Journaler asks: Hey! I want to link to my own Journal entries! How do I do it?
Well, if you're planning to link to an entry that's still on your main Journal page, you go to the bottom of your entry, where you'll see the "(Link to this Entry)" link. Typically, you use this to link to entries in other people's Journals, but it will also work with your own. Just click on it and when the new window opens, copy the URL that pops up in the URL bar at the top of your AOL window. Then when you make a new entry, feed that URL into box that pops up when you use the "Create Hyperlink" button."
If you want to reference an entry that's no longer on your main page, enter your archives through the "Older Entries" link at the top of your Journal page. Locate the entry you want to link and click on the title. That'll bring up the entire entry; from there you just cut and paste the URL as described above.
There -- you're linking to yourself. It's so recursive!
