Hearing Spongebob Squarepants

The Most Dangerous Game

That didn't take long: Woman Knocked Unconscious By Trampling Shoppers! At a Wal-Mart, even:

Patricia VanLester had her eye on a $29 DVD player, but when the siren blared at 6 a.m. Friday announcing the start to the post-Thanksgiving sale, the 41-year-old was knocked to the ground by the frenzy of shoppers behind her.

"She got pushed down, and they walked over her like a herd of elephants," said VanLester's sister, Linda Ellzey. "I told them, 'Stop stepping on my sister! She's on the ground!"'

This is why I do all my Christmas shopping on the 24th of December. There's hardly anyone at the stores then.

Yet another validation why some of us shouldn't work retail. I just don't have the patience for some people. Thing #1 has his first job and it is in retail and yes he worked Black Friday. Poor boy was exhausted and had many tales of overshopped kids and adults.

And what's wrong with a silly photo for your blog? Reading a couple of your entries is enough to tell folks you aren't a hick!

Have you ever been there to see the madness? Trampling people is not the half of it. It is real sad to say that people do not care of others like we believe them to. Especially when it comes to saving a few bucks.

I disagree...having worked at a 24 hour CVS, I can attest that December 24th and 25th were actually our busiest days next to Black Friday.

I just don't think saving a few bucks is worth getting trampled! I would rather shop on a morning when most everyone else is at work. OR BAH HUMBUG! not at all!
