Hearing Try Whistling This -- Neil Finn
Partly Insane With a Chance For Severe Madness

Arrrgh. Look at the predicted weather for the next ten days where I live: Thunderstorms. Clouds. Thunderstorms. Thunderstorms. Brief appearance of the sun to remind you that it actually exists and the earth is not orbiting some blank space. Thunderstorms. Clouds. If I wanted weather like this, I would already live in Seattle, thanks much.
Today is only "partly cloudy," but there's a weather service advisory noting the possibly of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Grrrrr.
It's times like this that I miss living in Los Angeles. Say what you will about ridiculous gas prices, absurd real estate values, crammed freeways and a local obsession with all things botoxed, it has 320 sunny days a year. Someone get me a ticket.

It's all a matter of perspective...grass is always greener, you know. While I certainly enjoy those 320 days and can't imagine living anywhere else, I miss Weather. Summer thunderstorms are exciting and interesting. I can't remember the last time I saw lightning or heard thunder in L.A. --Mike

Ha!!! Once again, sunny and about 82 degrees here in Hawaii. The beaches are calling and the trade winds a blowing at a cool 15-20 mph. It's great to live here. --Scott
