Hearing Maiden Voyage -- Herbie Hancock

Spooky

Picture from Hometown

Having Athena home (she's feeling better, by the way) has given me time to fiddle with my new camera and some of its shooting modes. And as you can see here, we had a little fun with the time exposure setting: This is what you get with a pretty dark hallway, a daughter jumping around, and a shutter left open for two seconds. Something like this is accomplishable in Photoshop, I suppose, but it's kind of more fun doing it the old-fashioned way.

I like this picture very much. I will probably make the leap to digital next year, but there is nothing like getting the perfect shot the old fashioned way. Always, Carly :)
