Your Silly Contraption for Tuesday


Guy builds a time machine out of a 60s hair dryer. It's powered by Twinkies. People sit in it and pretend to travel through time anyway. So I guess you could say it works.

    Trust me, he knows it isn't really a "real" time machine.  The idea was to make people laugh, which it did.  (And you'd be surprised at how many people wanted a Twinkie souvenir.)  It was for an "Art Hop" (see the previous entry), and the gallery specializes in nutty, silly things.  (I'm his wife.  I'm used to him being crazy, so I'm not suprised by it anymore.  I am not sure, but I think this is a good thing.)

    even though you may not be able to build a time machine out of a hair dryer, sounds like this guy has a wild imagination. having a imagination is a good thing. Plus playing pretend(pretending to travel through time) brings back the thought of your childhood. As far as i'm concerned it could be built. but surely couldn't be run off twinkies. Oh well, it could happen! Great imagination!!
