By The Way...

Well, people have fired up their imaginations for this week's Weekend Assignment and shared their favorite destinations -- that they haven't yet been to. Let's pull down the maps and see where they all want to go; I'll tell you who and where, and you can click through to find out why. Honu-girl dreams of Australia, and offers up pictures from Hawaii.

Lilrazcal79 says her dream of visiting Greece is "unrealistic." Well, only until you do it.

Geko1422 wants to go to Europe and visit goth clubs.

Staceyandbern wants to walk the Pacific Northwest Trail. And she will soon! She also provides some lovely pic in this and other entries.

Zaugram wants to see England and Germany.

Ckays1967 dreams of Africa, and notes that her parents' first date may have something to do with it.

Kkasey47 has five different destinations.

Rrveh1 says: Italy and Hawaii. Quite a distance between the two.

Goewynn wants to go to Great Britain and suggests you contribute to a fund to send her. Hmmm, let me check my pockets....

Svenskagrl loves the idea of Venice but has lovely pictures of the waterways of San Antonio.

Emilythecreative wants Hawaii, and shows off photos from Florida.

Geminifizz is not fussy: A tropical island somewhere will do.

Staceyandbern actually takes a vaction. While writing!

Aiibrat wants to see Stonehenge. Where the druids lived, and they did live well! Extra points for you if you catch that reference.

Drsue1982 just wants to take an RV and go.

Kmswft asks: Africa, or Disney Cruise? It's a small world, after all. Plus pictures from a Disney World vacation.

Chasferris wishes he'd driven the Lewis & Clark Trail.

Jgalarza870 wants a cruise without the kids, and has photos from New York.

Aneke5 yearns for Poland, where it's cool when it's stifling hot here. That's a good enough reason for me, too.
