Hearing Stone in Love -- Journey

Say Hi to My Mom

I'm going to take a moment for a personal plug, here:

So, my mother, of all people, has gone and gotten herself an AOL Journal, which you can find here. My mom is just newly back in the US after spending several years in Mexico, running a ministry whose mission included a home for children who were abused, abandoned or otherwise in need (she's continuing her work with the mission here in the US). The picture above is my mom, my sister Andrea, and my step-dad Robert, and the piece of paper she's holding up is the paperwork for Andrea's adoption. Yes, in just a couple of years my mom gets to experience all the joys of a teenager living under her roof yet again. Bwa ha ha ha ha!

Anyway, I'd be thrilled if y'all went over and said hello to her. She's gotten into the swing of things by writing up this week's Weekend Assignment, so I think she'll be a fine addition to our AOL Journal community. Make her welcome!

Hi John's Mom!  Welcome to AOL Journal Land!  I had a ministry also for a few years and can't wait to check out your journal.  Way to go on your work with your mission.  You have a fine and talented son helping our community of journalers along!
