Foliage!

Off the AOL Front Page: 10 top places for foliage this fall (how alliterative!). For all you people you love to see the leaves.

Fall is here in Ohio, but the tree are only now beginning to get word, so there's not much going on with the foliage. Oddly enough, right now reminds me of fall growing up, because I grew up in the Los Angeles area, where trees did lose their leaves, but not enough of them that you'd notice much. I remember looking at all the pictures of fall foliage and wondering where the heck all that was. In a couple of weeks, it'll be here.

Last year I asked for foliage picture links; I'll probably do that again this year. Not yet, though -- but soon. Having said that, how's the foliage looking in your part of the word?

Our leaves don't change until the first or second week in October depending on the rain we get.  We got alot of rain so it should be a brilliant season!  I am in central PA.  Fall is my favorite season!  And I am getting a new digital camera! Can't wait! ~Val

    Hey there John,

Not to much color change here in Hawaii.  The number three pic (Catskill mountains of NY) were my old stomping grounds as a kid.  I miss them.  --Scott

Now that's a beautiful fall photo ya got there Mr. John... and to answer the question about how our foliage is lookin' here- may I take this opportunity to vent.  Darn it, we're in Florida see here (there's my pirate talk for the day coming out), and all of our foliage lies this-a-way and that-a-way on the ground, blown over by blasted hurricane tasmanian like devils.  It's kind of putting a damper on our fall spirit but your photo has deee-lighted me.  Have a great day and to check out our bounty of destruction, email me or follow this link if ya can to:
