Hearing Freedom Park -- Marah

Your Friday Music

Your music selection to usher in the weekend is from Philly favorites Marah, who also happen to be a favorite of my pal Johnny A (and also of Bruce Springsteen, although I don't him personally) "Freedom Park" is a happy, rootsy tune which while not sounding like the aforementioned Springsteen, definitely mines the same musical vein of blue collar rock and roll celebration. I can't imagine you'd not like it. If you like what you hear, there are more MP3s here.

Speaking of Bruce...my godfather's wife grew up with him, and they now live in the house he grew up in. I have never met him, but he used to just stop by whenever ever he was in the area unannounced. Anyway, I couldn't listen to the music because I'm at work and this computer is JUNK!
