Christmas Week Procedural Notes

Two procedural notes for you this week:

One -- By The Way will be on a holiday schedule starting Thursday (that means there will be a couple of entries a day instead of the usual five). The reason? Well, Thursday is my daughter's birthday, and we'll be busy doing daughter birthday stuff. Friday is Christmas Eve, and we'll have the entire family over to do family Christmas Eve stuff. And then Saturday is Christmas, with the presents and the eating and the carols and It's a Wonderful Life and the Baby Jesus and what have you, all of which, you know, takes up some time. And then Sunday is Boxing Day, and you know how much time that takes. So, bear with me. On the other hand, I suppose many of you will be busy as well.

Two -- I'm still looking for tip suggestions for an updated batch of tips I plan to write in the new year. Here are the details. I'll pester y'all about this again on Wednesday, too. I'm just persistent this way.
