Hearing White Christmas -- Bing Crosby

Another Cliche in the Bag

Picture from Hometown

A White Christmas? Just like the ones I used to know? Check! Glad we got that one taken care of.

Mind you, as I grew up in Southern California, I myself dream of 72-degree Christmases, just like the ones I used to know. Where the palm trees glisten, and children listen, to hear the sound of the Mervyn's help desk giving them money when they return that sweater from grandma, because, jeez, it's 72 degrees outside.

I would be delighted if it were 72 degrees here on Christmas Day. However, as I believe it would panic every other single person in Ohio, I will bow to the majority wishes. A White Christmas for all!

The snow is still falling, incidentally. Quite heavily. Good bet that by the end of the day, these bushes will be totally covered. And get this: Tomorrow's snow forecast is for it to fall even heavier. White Christmas, indeed!

Snow is so beautiful to watch period.  Keep warm and safe and have a nip in your eggnog.  I spent 6 years in Denver, Colorado and that's where I learnd to drive in the snow. I miss it so.  You could always count on a white Christmas there, but that was in the 70's. My friends there say it will be snowing on Christmas. Glad you got your White Christmas. My Shelties look forward to the snow here in E.Tennessee, rolling around and making yellow snow.....lol....;o)
