Boxing Kwanzaa
Today is Boxing Day, the Feast of Saint Stephen, and the first day of Kwanzaa. And here you thought the holidays were taking a break until New Year's Eve. Guess again!
Here at the Scalzi household, it is also Dance Dance Revolution day, in that we set up Athena's DDR gamepad this morning, and I made myself look like a fool by trying to slap my feet down in time (Athena, naturally enough, did a bit better). On the other hand, if I keep at it, in a month or two I'll be svelte. Given how much I'm eating these holidays, this isn't a bad thing.

No dancing for me, I'm engrossed in this new book I got for Christmas (when Gracie lets me ignore her long enough to sneak in a chapter). It's called Old Man's War....any idea how it ends? ROFL

Sounds like you all had a great holiday. And as your entry indicates, the holidays are still rolling. I just introduced my first Kwanzaa entry.
