Wintertime Merriment

Picture from Hometown

The picture above answers two questions that I think people may have had about me in recent days. The first: So how long is your driveway, anyway? The answer: Long enough to create a bobsled track. The second: So how high did the snow get at your house last week? The answer: High enough to create a bobsled track. Athena, of course, adores her new bobsled track and wants to go up and down it unceasingly. Mommy and daddy are getting a lot of quality aerobic exercise.

Also, to forestall any concered questions, the driveway begins to slope ever so slightly upwards by the end, so Athena's bobsled adventures end long before she gets anywhere close to the actual street. We also run alongside, you know, to make sure. Mmmm... more aerobic exercise. I suspect this winter is either going to make me very fit, or kill me. Place your bets now.

This is a plea for help. I hve started and named my journal:
Lorenzo's Word. My problem is that I had a stroke in July and my left hand is not normal yet. I type with 2 fingers and occasionally I hit the wrong key and lose what I've typed. But I cannot UNDO IT BECAUSE IT'S NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS JOURNAL WINDOW.

    How to undo such wipe-outs?

I love the snow! It's encredible. I haven't been able to get snow here, but where I will be this time next year recieved snow on Christmas Eve, and it never snows there! Glad to see someone is enjoying the snow; and who better than your daughter? Haha!
I keep in touch with that teacher that let me bring my blankie to school; I sent her a card for the holidays as well, including one of my senior pictures where I had my balnkie in it, too! She was thrilled, as was anyone else. Happy Holidays!

"Mommy and daddy are getting a lot of quality aerobic exercise."
