Literature from the Horse's Mouth

How cool is this: 50 years of interviews from Paris Review, featuring some of the biggest names in literature, From Edward Albee to William Carlos Williams. I can't vouch that these interviews are without profanity or other invidious authorial conceits (so you are hereby warned), but I can vouch for them being a fascinating journal through literature's last half century. I'm reading Dorothy Parker's interview right now.

Supurb! I am a constant reader and I especially adore Maya Angelou  &  admire A. R. Adams to mention a few.  This will be fun to take the time and go thru each one.  Borders here I come, and the library. Thanks!

This is a great link John, a treasure trove, really.  Thanks.  I still miss George Plimpton, btw.

Does Parker have anything to say ablout that disastrous Algonquin Christmas special? ;)  The Thurber quote was nothing new, but the P L. Travers one was astonishing. - Karen

P.S. Thanks for the TNH / Gaiman link earlier today.  Read and bookmarked it for later.
