The Donut Thief
The strangest news story you'll read today: Theft of 5-foot doughnut thwarted.
This story has everything, man: Doughnuts, thieves, karaoke and police.
Speaking of police, a golden brown quote from the story:
"The police behaved themselves," Shannon says. "They wouldn't accept any free doughnuts."
Mmmm... doughnuts.

Ahh, Voodoo Doughnuts. It's the best place to get doughnuts in Portland. Alas, they had to stop selling the Nyquil doughnuts after the FDA intervened. The article does a great job of capturing the spirit of the place.
