Hearing My Love is Like a Red Red Rose -- Eddi Reader
Got about 20 minutes and a broadband connection? Check this out: Eddi Reader, who is one of my absolute favorite singers, is featured on an episode of the Irish television show Other Voices. And as a bonus, she opens with the song "Kiteflyer's Hill," which is heartbreakingly beautiful. If you like celtic/folk music, this is going to be something you definitely want to check out. What a wonderful world we live in when I'm in Ohio and I can point you to an Irish television show featuring a Scottish singer.   aye john eddies been about years in the band Fairground Attraction and they had a massive hit wie PERFECT check it out tis cool.shes got a voice like an angel. Scottish too,but never mind, we irish still like her!  lol after all it was us who gie the jocks the bagpipes and they still havent cottoned on tae the joke!  lol

  Thank you... thank you John. Our local public radio station KDSU, carries a two hour music program on Sunday afternoons that is comprised entirely of Celtic/folk music. I've heard Eddi Reader on the show before and had a hunkering for more. Now I know where to go. There are some definite advantages to technology.
