Your Monday Photo Shoot: Night Scenes

Night time is the right time for this week's photo shoot:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Capture a striking scene at night. The content of the picture is your choice, but it should be at night, and if at all possible it should be a cool shot.
As for mine: I was up at about 2 am last night (I was doing some copy editing for my next novel, and it was due today -- yikes), and I looked out the window and saw my fog-filled front yard lit by the intensely bright full moon, and the light was further increased by the fog bouncing it around. Naturally, I had to go out and try to capture it. What you're seeing here is the result of a four second exposure without flash, plus a little post-shot fiddling with Photoshop. It's not way the scene looked to my eye, but I really like how it turned out nevertheless. It's always cool when one's front yard becomes someplace dark and mysterious.
Go out and snap your own groovy nighttime picture -- or if you have one in your files, haul it out and post it up on your Journal or Blog and then swing by here to leave a link so we can come see. Let's see what goes bump in the dark!

That is a spooky pic! I can almost see a white figure rush behind the trees... Here is my assignment above! Thanks for this--I'm having fun with it! Julie -

I'm using an older picture for this assignment because, well, this one is really cool! It was taken in April during our first cookout of the season.
