Hearing Nothing at the moment

At the Capitol

Now this is a heck of a thing to have down at the end of your street, right?  What I find really interesting about Madison is that you can have this impressive building right there but at the same time surround it with small-town hominess. For example, this morning there was a farmer's market that was all around the Capitol, which I think was a fine example of by the people, for the people. It's a neat place.

I've personally been keeping busy at this convention -- I had two panels today, one on the business of writing and one on the rather more esoteric subject of what it take to construct a mind (hint: start with a brain. Difficult to get positive results without it), and also eating a lot of sushi, which I can't really get in the small, rural twon in which I live. Pizza, yes. Sushi, not so much. In all, however, I'm having a ball of fun. I hope your weekend is going as well as mine.

Hi ! I just love this picture. I should travel with you. I'm sure this sight would be better in person. This picture speaks for itself it doesn't need description of any kind. I think that this picture speaks a thousand words. It also looks like a pretty day from this picture.

Austin, Tx. has the same small town feel with neighborhoods around the statehouse. Cool shot and I like the cloud reflections on the buildings.

I live in the Chicago area. Wisconsin is considered out back door, and the place where most of us take vacations or weekends. The best thing about Wiscosin is not just The Dells, Circus World or any other vacation sight, it's the people. They are very warm and caring.

In August, I think, there is an incredable art show that surrounds the capital grounds. This art fair draws some of the finest artisans from all over the USA. What a grand place to hold a festival! Enjoy your time there. Selling any books?
