The 2005 Hurricane Season: In Two Minutes!

If you've got a little time to download an online movie, here's an absolutely stunning look at the 2005 hurricane season from the point of view of NASA satellites, featuring all 21 named storms. Amazing. It's 20MB, and that's a lot, so probably broadband is best. But you won't be disappointed.

That was fascinating. I had to watch it more than once to really catch the impact. And, the heating of the water is just frightening. No wonder the hurricane season is still around at the end of October! Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
