I sometimes wonder who it was who first figured out that an old tire makes a fine swing for the kid types. I mean, this is Edison-level stuff here, where people smack themselves on the forehead and go "Of course! It's so obvious!" Whoever it was, I thank them. They helped amuse my daughter this weekend, and that's no small feat.

beautiful, beautiful!!!!
When I was a little girl many thousands of moons ago, there was a HUGE tire (tractor trailer size at least) which laid on its side at the edge of our property. I spent countless hours curled up inside of it, like it was a clubhouse. Kids are SOOOOOO easy to amuse. :-) -
