Tire Swing!

Wheee!

I sometimes wonder who it was who first figured out that an old tire makes a fine swing for the kid types. I mean, this is Edison-level stuff here, where people smack themselves on the forehead and go "Of course! It's so obvious!" Whoever it was, I thank them. They helped amuse my daughter this weekend, and that's no small feat.

Ah brought back memories.  My husband put up a tire swing in the ravine behind my son's house in Texas.  Our grandchildren and all the neighbor kids loved it because you could swing off the hill coming down into the ravine.  Sometimes things made are so much better than an expensive swing set.  Your daughter is lovely.

    beautiful, beautiful!!!!

When I was a little girl many thousands of moons ago, there was a HUGE tire (tractor trailer size at least) which laid on its side at the edge of our property.  I spent countless hours curled up inside of it, like it was a clubhouse.  Kids are SOOOOOO easy to amuse.  :-)
