Hearing King of the Mountain -- Kate Bush

Your Friday Music: Kate!


Kate Bush has been out of the musical loop for a dozen years, which is a genuine tragedy if you ask me, but the good news is that Strange Kate is back with a new album, Aerial, and a new video for the lead-off single, "King of the Mountain." The video is indeed truly bizarre (Elvis' sequined jumpsuit is having adventures all over the world), but anyone who has been a fan of Kate Bush would expect nothing less.

You can listen to the entire Aerial album via AOL's Listening Party, but if you don't have that sort of time (it is a double album, after all), here's the "King of the Mountain" video. Enjoy, and welcome back, Kate!
