Hearing Cartoons in the background
The University of Florida Book of Insect Records 2005. Because I know you're endlessly interested in which insects are the largest, have the most unusual mating rituals, are the most venomous and (my personal favorite) are the least specific sucker of vertebrate blood. Clearly, don't go to read if bugs, like, totally creep you out. But otherwise, have fun.

I'm going to skip the light reading today because, frankly, I don't particulary like bugs. I kill them---except Ladybugs--they are cute! Julie :)

Cool. And in other bug news, meet the George W. Bush Beetle: http://www.discover.com/issue

I had the unpleasent experience of having a moth fly into my ear once. I have to tell you even a small pair of flapping wings sound enormous when fluttering up close to your ear drum....wanna see fear and panic? Anyways, I know now that if this happens to you, go into a dark closet and hold a flashlight to your ear, so it flys towards the light. Yeah, I took a look at John's link and the 1st bug I clicked on was a moth with a 12 inch wing span! Now, I'm having flashbacks. (putting my blanket over my head)
