A question in e-mail:

If you once blocked someone from a journal, and now want to unblock them... is that possible? If so, how would I go about it?

Yes it's possible:

1. Click on your "Edit Journal" button.

2. Click on "Manage Permissions" on the "Edit Your Journal" page. You'll be taken to your "Manage Permissions" page, on which you'll see an area called "All Blocked Screen Names." This area features a list of all the screen names you've blocked.

3. Click on the screen name you want to unblock, and then click on the "unblock" button below the list window. That screen name will be taken off the list.

4. You're done!

Note that you can also add screen names to be blocked from your "Manage Permissions" page as well. So it's a one-stop shop for all your blocking and unblocking needs.
