Hearing Gratitude -- Danny Elfman
Time to look through your photos, because this photo shoot is a bit of a challenge:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Display a picture you're taken of a famous man-made landmark. Significant buildings, big statues, great walls (particularly in China) -- it people put it together, it counts.
Here's mine: The Flatiron Building in New York City.

The building is a favorite of photographers for a number of reasons, not the least of which is its distinctive triangular shape. It's also the oldest skyscraper in New York City (not the first one, but the oldest still standing), built in 1902. It's also significant for me because one of my publishers has its offices in the building: Tor Books, which is on the 14th floor. Tom Doherty, who runs Tor, has an amazing view out his window, which would be one of those windows right there on the front, about two-thirds of the way up. I took this picture in March of last year, during a business trip to the Big Apple. I always thought it was a pretty good picture, although of course it's difficult to take a bad picture of the Flatiron.
Your turn: Show us the great man-made landmarks from the point of view of your own camera! Post the picture in your blog or journal and then come back here to leave a link. Can't wait to see what you've got!

A famous landmark here in Gloucester county is Walter Reed's Birthplace. He conquerored Yellow Fever and therefore saved thousands of lives.
