Two quick nots for you folks about doin's a transpirin' around the AOL-J:

1. PLittle slips me a note to let me know he's planning the next CarnivAOL, and it'll be on everyone's favorite recent subject. You can get all the info here to participate.

2. Journals Editor Joe is still on the job for the folks who are still having trouble signing in; his latest tips and tricks are available here. Also, stay tuned to Magic Smoke's front page for additional tech updates today. What you learn here could save your life -- or at least, make it less aggravating.

Also: No new news regarding banner ads. Because I know you want to know.

Absolutely and entirely unrelated to any of the above: Going outside to smoke -- good idea. Going outside for a smoke while flying to Australia in a passenger jet -- not so much. Now you know.

  my archives are broken.... like it could get any better. Why doesn't aol take these ads out of my journal now and put this mess back to its formerly functioning form?

  John - the banner ad mystery has been solved. I see them now, and thanks to the person who read my comment here and left me advice that I might have ad blocking on that prevents me from seeing them. In fact, it was ad blocking and pop up controls that i had to turn off to be able to view them, which when you think about it, it's just not right. I don't wanna fill your comment section with what Im really thinking about the ads, but I'll be posting on that later on my blog. Just wanted to let you know I see them now and it's not some gov't conspiracy to overtake blogspace. LoL.
