Hearing Swing Swing Swing -- All American Rejects
As promised, here's the pecan pie I baked. Astute observers will note that I use a graham cracker crust instead of a traditional crust; personally I think graham cracker suits pecan better, although I also acknowledge I may be in the minority here. But then, it's my pie.

My oven isn't working right, which I found out when I cut my pecan pie. It was a liquidy mess, cry................. But it was a very beautiful pie. My sweet potatoes didn't come out either. I used the regular crust.
My turkey was rotten to. I had to throw away the whole bird, it made the house smell like vomit (really, the really bad kind). I had to hike it to Boston Market and get some emergency bird. Maybe it was a good thing the oven wasn't working.
But, mom and dad still liked it, even though I forgot to set out the cranberry sauce. Hey, they took home a load of food, they'd better like it.
