Hearing Mr. Brightside -- The Killers

This article notes that 130 million people -- that's about 40% of the entire US population -- will do some sort of shopping thing today, the traditional (though often not actual) "busiest shopping day of the year." Were you one of them, or do you plan to be, later in the day?
I simply cannot imagine going out to shop today. Leaving aside the fact that at the moment it's 18 degrees outside, and I have a hard and fast rule of never leaving the house at temperatures much below 32 degrees because I might freeze and die, the idea of spending several hours in the company of frenzied deal seekers strikes me with a fresh and unholy terror. You kids have fun; I'll stay home and do my shopping in a week or two.

I never wake up to do this.

You couldn't pay me to go out after Thanksgiving. Only the threat of loss of life can do that. Even then it could depend on the person, or species.
