Hearing Hanukkah O Hanukkah -- Barenaked Ladies
One of the nice things about living in the country is that I know that if my driveway is snowed in, as it is today, sooner or later my neighbor is going to come up the way and plow it for me. Why does he do it? Because that's what neighbors do. We return the favor in other ways. That's country living for you.

That's right there, Bubba! You should never even have to ask. He does it just cause he sees it needs doing. Because he has a tractor and a snow blade and well, heck, he's gotta get it out and do his doesn't he?! Might as well run over and do yours too. - Barbara

It's not just a country thing...When I lived on LI my ex had a plow & after he did his accounts, he'd go up & down our dead end(consisted of 2 blocks) street & see who needed to still be plowed.
We always tried to do for our neighbors, & they always returned the favor in some way. And thats NEW YORK!

Why do you pull snow in Ohio? Don't people usually push it?

I miss my dad using our plow. We lived in the woods but had an 800 ft driveway to plow! We had a very old John Deer
