Hearing Nothing at the moment

Remember the front lawn from this picture? Well, this is what it looked like last night (or would have, if like my camera, my eyes could take a super-long exposure -- in reality it was pretty black). This morning the snow cover is a bit less even, thanks to some high winds list night that scraped the snow of small bits of the lawn, but there's no mistaking that winter is here about two weeks early.
Athena's happy about it, though, since they cancelled school today. Whoo-hoo! Except she won't be too pleased when I tell her she has to spend the day helping clean up the house. D'oh! Oh, well.
Those of you in the east: Get ready. The storm is coming to you. It's going to be a big one.
