My Holiday Schedule

Ho ho ho! As we get closer to the holidays, I just want to give you a little idea of what my schedule will be like around here, so you can plan your lives accordingly. Because I know you don't do anything without checking in here first. Right? Right? Hello? Hmph.

I'll be doing my usual schedule tomorrow (which will include a Weekend Assignment -- an easy one because I know you'll be busy over the weekend), but on Friday I'll start a holiday schedule, which will mean only a couple updates a day. Friday is Athena's birthday, you see. Then it's Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and then Boxing Day, which I don't actually celebrate (we've already rewarded the servants), but which will serve as an excuse to slack off.

Next week I'm also likely to be on an abbreviated schedule -- which is to say I'll post at least a couple of times daily, but if I don't do five entries a day I hope you won't demand that Journals Editor Joe beat me with a hammer. I'll still be doing the Monday Photo Shoot and Weekend Assignments, however. On January 2, I will be back to the usual schedule of five entries a day (the fact I'll be working past December 31, incidentally, is proof that AOL has renewed my contract again. Ha! You're stuck with me!).

So, in short: There will still be stuff here for you to see and do every day for the next 10 days, but I'll also be bowing to the needs of the real world to do all that crazy holiday stuff. I figure most of you will be doing the same.

Comments, questions, etc? Leave them in the comments!

So you are not treating your wife, not that she is a servant but she may have a different opinion! Ha!

    Don't hurt em, Hammer!

    Happs to Shorty!

Jesus... I remember when I was 9. We used to live in a country manor back then, and I'd spend my days with my pony and my servants. While he never ordered anyone's death in front of me, I picked up enough listening around corners to know that the whole "small-town cobbler" story that my father was giving my sisters and I was probably a bit of a white lie.

Oh wait... that wasn't my life. Never mind.

How about we get Joe to beat you with a box on the 26th.

Happy Birthday to Athena.  And Happy Holidays to the Scalzis.
