Hearing King of the Mountain -- Kate Bush
Things will get busy
Between now and the weekend
So let's take it easy:
Weekend Assignment:
Write a holiday haiku
On any subject.
Haiku have three lines
And seventeen syllables:
5-7-5. See?
Your extra credit:
Find a little extra time
For greetings in rhyme!
Here is my haiku
based on the picture above
(which is rather cute):
Enjoy the tree, cat
But touch just one ornament
And I'll shave you bald.
Extra Credit:
There once was a blogger from Bradford
Who was occasionally thought to be out of his gourd
Nevertheless
He wished everyone the best
For the holidays and for ever more.
And now it's your turn
Haiku your blog or journal
And then leave a link!
Happy holidays
And I am looking forward
To reading haikus!
