Hearing Morning (Excerpt) -- Michael Stearns
Want to turn yourself into the infamous monster of the famous book Frankenstein? (Who, by the way, is not Frankenstein -- that's the doctor in the story. The monster is just the monster.) This fellow made himself into the stitched-together thing for a book cover, using only rubber bands and Photoshop. It's fascinating what you can do these days. Also, of course, it takes a special sort of person to immortalize himself as a nightmarish freak. Good we don't know too many other people who would do that to themselves.

Incidentally, here's Frankenstein at Project Gutenberg. Just in case you've never read it.
