Hearing Hard Day's Night -- The Beatles

A small procedural note to all y'all: Tomorrow I'll be on the road to the state of Michigan, to attend the Penguicon convention (it mixes everyone's favorite flavors of geeks: science fiction and open source computing!). This means I may update a little later than usual (depending on when I arrive) and may post fewer updates than usual. On the other hand, maybe I'll snag some pictures from the convention for you, because I know how much you all love that.
Mind you, if you happen to be in greater Livonia, MI area, by all means you should come on down and see what's up. I'll be there all weekend, blathering on at panels and generally participating in geeky tomfoolery, which is the best sort of tomfoolery, if you ask me. They're making ice cream with liquid nitrogen! It's almost too exciting to bear.

I must say... I LOVE San Diego---very nice weather and you can find the BEST Mexican food there.... If you want to find REAL Geeky people, California is full of them--especially around where I live (Silicon Valley). Oh, and btw, San Diego is also located in the great state of California! :) Julie

Wow, San Diego is a state, huh..I didn't know that.

I think it depends on the geek. Personally, I'd prefer to geek out somewhere that had the climate of San Diego.
