Hearing Baby We're Going Down -- Fall Out Boy

A New Scientific Theory of Laughter....

... and it's based on falling down and farting. No, I'm totally serious. Apparently the height of humor for our ape-like ancestors would have been "Burritos and Brewskis" night at the local sports bar. Look at how far we've come!

Interesting! I wonder if there were gender differences even then? I mean guys laugh at farting more than women do! I'll have to contact the researchers! This could be interesting for class.

I was just telling someone this weekend I remember being at a zoo that had some chimps playing. They had one of those plastic pools with the built in slide for kids in the chimps habitat. One chimp is on the edge leaning in drinking water. Another chimp up high on a ledge of the wall grabs a rope & swings down & pushes him in the pool & then as he swung forward let go & grabbed on to the fencing that protected us from them (well maybe the other way around) and he shakes the fencing & is laughing hysterically. We all started laughing. It was so funny to see this deliberate act!

Which makes me think also about the article saying "loss of dignity"! Interesting how bullying sometimes kids laugh. Very sad!
