Hearing Yellow Song -- Yo La Tengo
This is a pretty gripping story: A guy breaks into another guy's house to burglarize it, and among other things steals a computer data card with photos of a truly terrible crime on them. The burgler knows that the person committing the crime needs to be turned into the police, but he also knows that by turning in the photos, he's implicating himself in the burglary, and could be looking at jail time himself. What did he do? Find out. It's a reminder that it's always the right time to do the right thing.

Admirable, but stupid. What you do is simply go back and kill the child molester yourself, and maybe steal more of his stuff. The world's a better place, and you might get a laptop out of it.

Truth is indeed sometimes stranger than fiction. Turning in the molester proves that Hahn has an active conscience and is probably open to rehabilitation. I hope that will be recognized at his trial.

That's a fascinating story.
However, it's not just simply jail time, John. By admitting to the robbery, the burglar would be facing his "third-strike," and, thus, facing life in prison.
I guess you can find heroes in some pretty unexpected places, don't you?
